Hi everyone,
I am going to do another review for you today.
The item I am going to review is the L'Oreal Nude Magique Foundation* in 150 Nude Beige. I got a sample from the latest Dolly Magazine*.
Before I start the review I'd just like to say that this is the first ever "real" foundation I have ever owned, so I have nothing to compare it to.

Swatches
Here is the foundation fully blended onto my face. I think that it is a really light but buildable foundation. It is not cakey at all (with the amount that I used anyway).
Here I am with my finished makeup look. I have added mascara, blusher and lipstick. The mascara is from Clinique (I have mentioned it before) called High Impact Mascara. The blusher I used is from the Napoleon Perdis Ultimate Contour Palette. The lipstick is from Maybelline Colour Whisper range in Pink Possibilities.
This is what it looked like after around 7 hours. It has come off slightly, but is still going strong. All of my lipstick has come off and most of the mascara has as well.

Colour
This shade is an almost perfect match for my skin tone. If I was to go and buy this I would test out multiple similar shades before I buy it.
Packaging
As it is just a sample, I cannot really say exactly how I feel about the packaging, but according to the instructions in the magazine, you have to shake the bottle without the lid on (and your finger over the opening, of course) to mix the foundation, which could cause some spillage. Also, if you just use your fingers, it is not very hygienic, but still blends quite well using fingers to rub it in.
Cost
As I got it from a magazine, it was free. I think it is in shops for about $25 Australian (which is about $23 US and £13 UK). It is available in pharmacies (drugstores) and online.

Does it work?
Yes it works really well. It stayed on for about 7 hours. This would be a great foundation to wear to work or school (if you're allowed to wear it at school) if you only need a light coverage. I like the light coverage because I don't think I need heavy coverage at my age. If you want a medium or heavy foundation you will not like this product. Also, it is a powder finish foundation, which I like because I think that it is kind of "sciencey" how it goes from liquid to powder.
Fun Fact: In French, Eau De Teint means Makeup Water .
What foundation do you use at the moment? Or do you not use foundation because you have perfect skin? By the way, if you do have perfect skin (a) I envy you and (b) what cleanser do you use to keep your skin so perfect?
Bye!
