September Favourites

A rose from my garden means that spring is upon us!

Hi everyone!

It's that time of the month again. No not THAT time of the month, but the time of the month that I tell you all my favourite products that I have used in the past month. Could I have said month many more times then? I don't think so. Throughout September I have used many of the things I got for my birthday, so you can see the best of the bunch!

Body

I finished up my Snow Fairy body wash sample that I got from Lush LAST YEAR. Yes, I know, I am a terrible sample user. Anyway, it smells absolutely incredible. I can't pinpoint what the scent is exactly, but I can tell you that it is very sweet. I highly recommend it to all the sweet-tooths out there, but be warned that it is a strong scent. I am sorry that I don't have a picture of it, but my mum already put the bottle in the rubbish as it was empty. You can see it in my Spring morning routine if you want to.

Since I finished my Lush body wash, I moved on to The Body Shop's Japanese Cherry Blossom Shower Gel that I got for my birthday from one of my bestest friends. It smells SO GOOD. It lathers up amazingly with only a little bit of it on the loofah thing. The scent of it doesn't really linger, but I still love it!

Another product that I have been loving this month is The Body Shop Shea Body Butter sample that I got from the same friend for my birthday (it came in a pack thing). This definitely does not smell the best, but the way it moisturises my skin makes up for it. As I said in my Spring morning routine, I only really use it at night time to not offend anyone else's noses as it is a scent that lingers.

Books

I have really liked reading Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella this month. I got for my birthday from my auntie. It is about a girl called Audrey who wears sunglasses because of her anxiety disorder. The book is about her getting over the disorder with the help of her crush, Linus. I have not finished it yet, but that is the basic gist of it.

I have flicked through the pages of Love Tanya by Tanya Burr and have utterly loved every word I have read. The book contains many things that Tanya Burr has learned and experienced, including recipes and stories of her childhood. I particularly like the recipes section and I can't wait to try and bake her cookies!

I didn't really have any makeup favourites this month because I am still using the same things as last year, but I don't wear makeup much so don't judge me to harshly!

That is all the things that I have loved throughout this month of September. I do hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, then +1 it. If you want to read more posts from me then leave me a follow. Down in the comments section below, tell me your favourite things that you have used this September and I might buy them and try them. Anyway, that is all from me for now.

Bye!

PS; There might not be a post from me next week as I will be on school camp for the majority of the week.

Happy 2nd Blogday!

Hi everyone!

Today is a very special day. An anniversary, in fact. On this day, two years ago, I started this little place on the internet.

Yes, I know there has been loooong spans of time where I haven't posted and I do regret that. School just gets in the way, unfortunately.

This blog has gathered a, well, fairly small community (3 followers to be exact) and you know what would make my little blog really happy? If you went over and followed her (she gets rather lonely sometimes).

This was just a short little post to tell you peeps about this accomplishment and I have just one more thing to ask you. I have noticed that my posts are forever creeping towards the 100 mark and I was wondering if you peeps had any ideas of how to celebrate.

I was thinking maybe a giveaway, but I don't know what to give away. If you have any other ideas or suggestions, leave them in the comments below.

That is all I have for you today, so before you click away please leave a comment or a follow as I do read and reply to all of the comments and every follow is much appreciated by my little blog.

Bye!

Morning Routine | Spring

Hi everyone!

Today I want to show you how I get ready in the morning on the school holidays (bear in mind that it is spring in Australia). My morning routine is the best part of the day because I like structure, but after I finish it I can do whatever I want. So, on with the routine!

Shower Time!

The first thing I do when I wake up is have a shower - or go back to sleep if my brother is still in the shower (those are the best days). Once I get in the shower, I usually wash my body and my face. I wash my body with the Lush Snow Fairy body wash because I am slack when it comes to using samples (I got that one last year!). It smells really good and it's pink! It smells like fairy floss and lathers up really well.

I wash my face with the Simple Spotless Skin Triple Action Face Wash as I have done for almost a year, I think. I like all the little grainy bits in the face wash because it reassures me that it is doing something, even if my unpredictable teenage skin prevents it. I still think it works as I don't have as many blemishes as I normally would.

Skincare!

Once I am out of the shower, I moisturise my skin. My face gets the Simple Spotless Skin Anti-Blemish Moisturiser and my body gets a Body Shop Body Butter sample that my friend got me for my birthday (its the Shea Butter one). Although it doesn't smell that great, it moisturises my skin really well and I only do it at night, as the smell is strong and it lingers, so as to not offend everyone's noses, only mine!

Getting Dressed...

After moisturising, I get dressed. I have chosen to wear a leopard print singlet paired with black jeans and pink jelly shoes to match. This is one of my most common outfits as all the colours go together and I feel the most confident and happy in it, even if I am just staying at home.

Breakfast time!

Once I am dressed, I normally go to the kitchen for breakfast. I have porridge and put fruit on it if we have any. I also have a Milo. For those poor, unfortunate souls who don't know the joy that is Milo, it is a chocolate-y drink that is sold in Australia (and other places, I think maybe New Zealand has them too). I often sit at the table and read the paper while I eat my breakfast - yes I know I am only a teenager and that reading news papers is for old people (don't tell Mum I said that!), but I mainly just read the celebrity news and the comics.

After I have eaten my breakfast, I brush my teeth and do my hair. For school I normally bung my hair up in a pony tail, but on the holidays I just brush through it and put in a head band. Then I just go on with the rest of my day.

So that is my entire morning routine! You should comment down below anything you do in the morning to get ready. You should also leave a +1 if you enjoyed this post and follow if you want to see more from me.

Just a little more before I sign off. My birthday was last month and I received lots of things. I was wondering if you wanted to see that, even if it is a month or so late. Please comment your thoughts on the matter and it will greatly appreciated. If you don't want to see that blog post then you should give me ideas for new posts of what you would like to see more of on this blog.

That is really all for today, thank you for reading.

Bye!
