Christmas Presents!

Hi everyone,

As it was Christmas on Thursday, I thought I would show you what I received.

I will start with what I got from Santa (he was really kind to me this year). He gave me two books; Girl Online and Divergent; The Sims 4, chocolate coins, a 16GB micro SD card for my phone, a selfie stick, a portable phone charger and a beauty blender.

From my grandparents on my mum's side, I got this really pretty outfit that I have been eyeing off for ages. I wore it to the Boxing Day sales on Friday (more about that next week).

From one of my aunts on my mum's side, I got a set of pinky orange bikinis. They are so pretty and I can't wait to wear them.

From my other aunt on my mum's side, I got two dresses, two body washes and a loofah.

From Mum and Dad, I got the 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I feel so lucky to have gotten this and when I unwrapped it and saw what it was, I was so thankful and went and hugged them straight away.

From my grandparents on my dad's side, I got a $50 Lush gift card (you'll find out how I used it in next week's post) which I used the next day at the Boxing Day sales so thus no picture, but I am sure you can imagine what it looked like. From my uncle I received $40 and a hug because he didn't get my list, but I thanked him as well.

From my dad's aunt, I received a purse and a Christmas mug and coaster. She bought the purse in Norfolk Island and as soon as I got home, I transferred all my money from my previous purse into it. It has a lot of card slots and a zippy section for coins and notes.

From my dad's other aunt and uncle, I received a lovely handbag and a box of chocolates.

Finally, from my dad's cousin, I received a stationery set that included a ball maze pen, a multicolored pen, pencils, a pencil case made entirely of zips, a sharpener and macaron erasers.

And that, is all that I got for Christmas. I am sorry that this post came slightly late, but this past week has been filled up to the brim with activities and so I could not write this post in time for Saturday. I will see you next week with all the things I bought at the Boxing Day sales.

Bye!

My Christmas List

Hi everyone,

As Christmas is on Thursday, I thought I would show you the things I am wishing for. Here we go!

Eyelash curlers - I think that these would be cool to have just to add a little curl to my lashes.

Concealer - I have really bad under eye circles so being able to cover them up would be great.

Blonding shampoo - My hair is going darker (not extremely) so I think it would be a good idea to try and "re-blonde" my hair.

Mecca Maxima gift card - I like Mecca Maxima's products a lot and would like to buy some things from there.

Rose gold bracelet - I love rose gold and I really want to try and wear more jewellery.

New Clothes - I don't have much of a variety of clothes and some new ones would be nice.

Rose Gold Studs/ Sleepers - As with the bracelet, I would like to try and wear more jewellery and rose gold is my favourite kind of gold.

Lush Gift Card - I have never bought anything from Lush, so I would like to try some bath bombs or body washes out!

Demeter Hawaiian Vanilla perfume - I love the vanilla scent and this one sounds like it smells amazing!

The Body Shop Gift card - I would like to buy something from The Body Shop because (a) I have never bought anything from there before and (b) I like The Body Shop's products.

A terrarium or a terrarium making kit - I saw some of these at a market and I thought that they were cute and that easy to maintain (I searched on Google)

Bucket of Maltesers - I really like Maltesers, so a bucket of them would be fantastic!

Fujifilm Instant camera - I think that an instant camera would be a great way to capture memories and have it immediately printed.

A cushion with pineapples on - I absolutely love pineapples at the moment.

Typo Gift card - Typo has some really cool stuff and I would like to buy some of it.

Girl Online by Zoe Sugg - I am a big fan of Zoe Sugg and her book sounds like a great read!

The Sims 4 - I have been watching a lot of Sims 4 videos on YouTube and it looks like a great game (I am watching a Sims video as I write this).

Nice headphones - I like these ones with the holographic ear things; I think they are pretty.

Divergent by Veronica Roth - I have wanted this book for ages. I have read the sample of it on iBooks and it sounded amazing.

And that is the end of my list! I hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you again next week!

Bye!

Get Ready With Me || Katy Perry Concert

Hi everyone,

On Monday the 1st of December, I went to see Katy Perry* in concert with my friends. I thought I would show you how I got ready for it.

The first thing I did was have a shower. In the shower, I used (obviously) the Katy Perry* Killer Queen body wash. I also washed my face using the Clinique* Liquid Facial Soap. After getting out of the shower, I used the Katy Perry* Killer Queen body lotion. I used my Clinique* moisturiser as always.

The clothing I chose to put on were this top from Myer* I got last year. It is goldy-silver and sparkly. On my bottom half, I wore some denim shorts from Target and comfortable shoes from Big W*.

To accessorise, I wore gold studs in my ears. As for makeup, I used The Body Shop* Tea Tree BB Cream, L'Oreal* Stay Matte Powder and Napoleon Perdis* blush on my skin. On my eyes, I used my Nude by Nature* eyeshadow in Créme and my Designer Brands* coloured mascara in Emerald. On my lips I used my Maybelline* Colour Whisper lipstick in Pink Possibilities. I used the Katy Perry* Killer Queen perfume on my body as well. Also, my mum straightened my hair and I put a silver sparkly headband in.

Kindly turn your head to the side as I was not able to get this photo to sit the correct way. Sorry.
Here is the finished look!

That is my entire get ready with me complete and I will see you next week with a new post.

Bye!

November Favourites

Hi everyone,

As it is now December, I thought it was about time to do my November Favourites. Here we go!

The first favourite this month is Soap and Glory Hand Food. I bought this at Myer a few weeks ago. It smells absolutely amazing. The fragrance is their Original Pink fragrance, so it smells musky and marshmallow-y and moisturises my hands oh so well.

The second favourite this month is Soap and Glory Daily Smooth body butter. I got this for my birthday in August. I really like the scent of this. The fragrance is their Mist you Madly fragrance, so it smells musky, fruity and sweet and makes my arms and legs lovely and smooth.

The third favourite this month is the Pretty Wicks Sweet Vanilla and Coconut Cookie candle. I got this candle at a market a few weeks ago. I love the smell of this. It smells like coconuts and vanilla and they are my two absolute favourite scents. It burns really nicely as well.

The fourth and final favourite this month is the Katy Perry Killer Queen perfume. I got this for Christmas last year and rediscovered it last month. It smells really lovely. It has notes of red velvet, wild berry and bergamot and it's scent is in the "Floriental" family. I am a really big fan of Katy Perry so it is no surprise that I love this.

They are all my favourites for the month of November. I hope you enjoyed it and I will talk to you again next week.

Bye!

My Brow Threading Experience

Hi everyone!

Last Sunday, I got my eyebrows threaded, so I thought that I would share that experience with you!

As you can see, they were quite unruly!

My mum and I went to our local shopping centre and found a brow threading place (I can't remember what it was called). We asked for my brows to be shaped and the lady told me to sit down in the chair (it kind of looked like a dentist chair).

First off, she wet my brows, then brushed them and them clipped them to a nice shape. She then proceeded to thread my brows.

It took a little while (my brows were quite unruly), but after a bit of threading, it was time for the massage (I think this was to help them hold their shape). After that, she was done.

It cost $24 all up, which I think is pretty good. Also, she gave us a card so that after 5 threadings, the sixth one was free.

Overall I really enjoyed this experience and the results speak for themselves, I think.

That is all for this week, I hope you enjoyed it and I will talk to you next week.

Bye!

Mini Haul

Hi everyone!

Over the past month I have been to various markets and antique fairs (and shops). So here is what I bought.

The first thing is from an antique fair. They are pink studs with little gems all over them. I got them for $12 and I think they are perfect for spring/summer.

The next thing I got was from my school market. It is a Pretty Wicks candle in the scent Sweet Vanilla and Coconut Cookie. I absolutely love this. It smells so sweet and it makes me feel happy when I light it. I think it costed $3.

The last thing I bought is from Myer. It was in the "International Brands" section and the brand was (drum roll please) Soap and Glory! It is their hand food in miniature and the scent is just lovely. I can't explain it but I think it is their signature scent. I bought it for $5.

That is my entire haul. I hope you enjoyed this post, although it was rather short, and I will talk to you again next week.

Bye!

October Favourites

Hi everyone,

As you may know, I have not posted in a few weeks. I am really sorry. I have been really busy with assignments and studying at school that I haven't even had time to take photos. This was supposed to be a monthly favourites, however I have no photos, but I thought I'd tell you why I was away for so long.

I will still tell you what I liked this month, but I will put the photos in at a later date.

The first thing I have been loving is the Katy Perry Meow! perfume. I have been wearing this to school recently and I re-realised how much I love this scent. I got this perfume for Christmas a while ago and I rediscovered it a few weeks ago. It smells quite vanilla-ry, sweet and fruity, in case you were wondering.

Another favourite this month is bobby pins. So random, however, I used to just let the little bits of hair fly around my face and since I brought bobby pins to school (and wore them) I have not had that trouble. So random, but having hair in your face is so distracting and bobby pins have really sorted that issue out.

As it is now getting into the end of spring and the start of summer, deodorant becomes a lot more important. I use the Rexona Women Long Lasting Protection in Classic as a roll on and I really like it. It is an antiperspirant deodorant, so it stops you from sweating (ew) and makes you smell nice. I think there are other scents, but this one is good for now. Also it says that it lasts 48 hours, but I have to put it on every morning; I don't mind though because it does it's job and if I have to apply it every day that is fine.

They are all my October favourites and I hope you can forgive me for being away for a bit. Talk to you next week, maybe.

Bye!

1. Favourite spring nail polish?

Probably my pastel pink one from Chi Chi. It embodies spring for me.

2. What is your must-have lip color this spring?

Any bright pink one! I have the Maybelline Colour Whisper in Pink Possibilities.

3. Show us your favourite spring dress!

My favourite flowers are roses.

5. Favourite spring scarf/accessory?

I love to accessorise with hair clips and my favourite one is this floral one.

6. What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both!)

I am excited about nail art. I have a dotting tool and I really want to try and paint flowers on my nails.

7. Favourite spring candle?

My favourite spring candle would be the Yankee Candle in Vanilla Cupcake. It smells so sweet and I
love it!

8. Favourite body spray/perfume for spring?

I like love the Katy Perry Meow! perfume for spring because it smells sweet and not
overwhelming on the nose.

9. What is spring like where you live?

Spring is warm, sometimes a bit rainy but mostly sunny where I live.

10. What's your favourite thing about spring?

I live that all the flowers bloom and that it is warmer after the winter.

11. Are you a spring cleaner?

I would like to say I am, but unfortunately no.

12. Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?

No as I have just gone back to school, but I wish I could go on a holiday to the beach.

That is the end of the I Heart Spring tag, I hope you enjoyed it and I will talk to you again later.

Bye!
