May Favourites

Hi everyone,

As it is the last day of May, I thought I'd tell you what my favourite products of this month are.

Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk in Milk and Honey
I love this product. It smells delicious, makes me smell delicious and it makes my skin feel nourished and clean.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
I know I have mentioned this before in a favourites, but I still love it! It moisturises my skin so well that I can't say enough good things about it!

Covergirl Nature Luxe Water resistant mascara in Very Black
This is a product that I found at the back of my makeup draw. I got a couple of years ago for one of my dance concerts. I really love it. It goes on well, stays on and doesn't clump.

They are all the favourites I have this month. If you like any of the things I have mentioned, tell me in the comment section below!

Bye!

The Lazy Day Tag!

Hi everyone!

Today I am going to do the Lazy Day tag for you. I saw this on Marzia's channel on YouTube and thought it was cute. Here we go!

1. What hair products do you use on a lazy day?

I tend to just use a hairbrush and hair ties on a lazy day because if you don't have to be anywhere, why bother?

2. What makeup do you wear on a lazy day?

I don't really wear makeup on lazy days, but if I have to go out later on I'll just put on some mascara (namely the Clinique High Impact waterproof one) and grab my bag and head out the door.

3. What kind of outfits do you wear on a lazy day?

Generally just comfy clothes that feel like pyjamas (or I just leave my pyjamas on).

4. Tea or coffee on a lazy day?

I would prefer coffee, mainly because I have never tried tea, but water is usually the first drink I consider because it's healthy and I like it.

5. What snacks do you eat on a lazy day?

For a healthy snack, I eat a muesli bar and for an unhealthy snack it ranges from lollies to biscuits.

6. What pampering items do you use on a lazy day?

On a lazy day, I will do a face mask because you can just leave it on for 15 minutes or so. I also will do my nails. I only paint my toenails when school is on because we are not allowed to wear any nail polish on our fingers :'(

They are all the questions from this tag. I hope you enjoyed it.

Bye!

My Candle Collection

Hi everyone,

As winter approaches, it becomes more appropriate to use candles. So I thought I'd talk to you about my candle collection.

I have four candles in my collection.

The first candle I am going to show you is a tealight candle. I bought it from the Old Petrie Town markets for about 50c. It smells like Honeysuckle and I love it so much.

The second one I am going to show you is from Pure Scents Candles. It is called 'Monkey Farts'. I know the name may be deceiving, but it actually smells really nice. It smells like tropical fruits and I really like it.

The third candle I am going to show you is in this blog post. It is from  the brand Pretty Wicks and it's scent is Australian Christmas Lemon Myrtle. It is really lemony and I love this smell.

The fourth and final candle I am going to show you is from Yankee Candle. I talked about it in this blog post. It is in the scent Vanilla Cupcakes and it smells like exactly that. I can even smell the icing on top! This is my favourite candle that I have.

That is all the candles I have to show you, for now. What are your favourite candles/scents?

Bye!

My brother insults me every day.

Things I missed at Camp

Hi everyone,

Seeing as I have been on school camp, hiking through the wilderness with not much really, I thought I'd let you know the luxurious* things I missed while at camp. As I have spoken about all of these before, I am not going to go into much detail.

Clinique Moisture Surge
It got very windy up in the mountains, and also very dry. If I had had this at camp I would've felt a lot better about my skin.

Maybelline Baby Lips
I did take a lip balm to camp, but it was just a cheap one that didn't matter if I lost it. It worked, but was nowhere near as good as Baby Lips.

Clinique cleanser
I did not take a cleanser to camp, as there were no showers, but I did take face wipes and used them. This cleanser keeps my skin lovely and clean, which would have been nice on those days of camping.

They are all the things I missed at camp that are beauty related. I also missed having showers, a warm and comfortable bed and a toilet that actually flushes.

Bye!

*I would just like to point out that because I've been camping, these are luxurious. They may be kind of ordinary and essential to you, but when camping they are just extra weight to carry on my back.

My Reading Obsession

Hi everyone,

Today I thought I'd talk to you about something very close to m heart and that is:

Reading.

Reading is one of my favourite things to do. I take a book in my handbag for if I get bored.

I have read all the Harry Potter books twice. I have read all the Hunger Games books twice. I guess you could say that I am a readaholic (or maybe a bookaholic). I am really excited to read the Divergent series soon as I have heard that it is amazing.

My reading obsession started when I was quite young. The first chapter book was from the Rainbow Magic series and I think it was Phoebe the Fashion Fairy. My Mum used them as a disciplinary tool to stop me from being naughty and I guess it worked. Take into consideration that I was about 5 years old. I got about 50 books from the series before I moved on to more page heavy books.

I hope that you found this completely non beauty post interesting. If you enjoy reading, what is your favourite book or series? What are book you currently reading?

Bye!

33: Last show you watched?

The Block

34: Last person you talked to?

My Mum

35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?

My Dad

36: Favourite food?

Chocolate!

37: Place you want to visit?

Everywhere

38: Last place you were?

My living room

39: Do you have a crush?

No.

40: Last time you kissed someone?

My Day - School Open Day

Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd do a random post because I want to tell you about how my yesterday went.

Let's start with the morning. I got ready for school, like any other morning. But this day was different. Today I was going to the School's annual Open Day. Not as a buyer, but a seller. I was excited by this because (well, to be honest I was excited that we get part of the profit made) I had never done this before and will probably never get to do it again.

Once I had got to school, I met my friends in the normal meeting place. We then walked to our  lockers and got our books out for the first lesson (English). English was... interesting. I don't particularly like English, but that is part of the reason I started my blog; to get better at English.

After morning tea was Home Economics. This lesson we were cooking something from a different religion that we had no experience with. I had chosen to make Salmon Rillettes, which is basically a salmon spread that goes on bread (it's really yummy).

After lunch, my dad came to drop off supplies for the business* and I gave him all of my things that I did not need for the business (for instance, my history homework). I walked back to the stall, cans in my bag and (almost) a spring in my step (my bag is heavy, okay).

We were setting up the stall quite well. I think it looked quite good, but someone walking past said it looked kind of empty, but oh well. It was not empty, but spacious. Spacious.

After hours and hours of people playing our game, we made a profit! I don't know how much yet, but I'll find out and tell you (I think it was about $50).

My parents came and found me, I had dinner (hotdog and soda), packed up the stall and headed for home.

When we got home, we all had showers (not at the same time), put our pyjamas on and sat down to watch Once Upon a Time. If you watch this show you will know what I mean when I say that I am up to the bit where Neil was found and the Wicked Witch's identity was discovered.

That is my whole yesterday, from start to finish.

Bye!

*The business was made up of multiple people. Our business was a carnival game. It was s a knock-the-cans-over, pop-a-balloon, win-a-prize kind of game.

April Favourites!

Hi everyone!

It's the start of May and you know what that means.

It's April favorites time!

Sally Hansen nail polish in 130 "Blue  Me Away!"
This nail polish is so pretty. I had it on my toes and it gave such great colour with only two coats. It is so bright and lasted a long time (3-4 days).

Maybelline Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry
I don't know if I have mentioned this in a favourites before, but I love it so much. It moisturises my lips really well and that is very important as we are coming in to the cooler months.

That is all I have for my Favourites this month, but I am still loving everything from my previous Favourites posts as well.

Bye!
