June Favourites

Hi everyone,

As we are now in the start of July, I thought I'd do my June Favourites for you.

The first product I have really been loving I told you about last week in my haul. It is the Sugar Baby Drive Me Balmy Body Butter in Beach. I love this product soooo much. It moisturises my skin really well and has a fantastic scent. Also it wasn't too expensive. If you have dry-ish skin or are in the midst of winter do check it out!

The second product I have been loving is not a beauty product. It is actually a game. It is Animal Crossing New Leaf for the 3DS. I do not have a 3DS; I have a 2DS, but it still works on it. I think all DS games are supposed to work on it. Anyway, this game is fantastic. You are the mayor of a town and have to earn enough Bells (the game's currency) to pay off your house, town projects and things like that. You can also catch bugs and fish and hand them in to the or sell them. I have previously had Animal Crossing Wild World and it is much the same as that, except for some new added features like an island, deep sea diving and much more.

My third favourite this month is a moisturiser. I used this because I had a bit of dry skin on my face (I think it was due to the Stay Matte powder drying out my skin). It is QV Cream. It is nothing special. it doesn't smell nice. It certainly doesn't claim to do anything special like anti aging, but it is amazing. However it does say that it is a highly concentrated formula, meaning that it is perfect for really bad skin issues like eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. On the dry skin I originally used my trusty Clinique Moisture Surge cream, but it didn't work for this issue. I used this cream and my skin immediately felt smooth and not dry. I have been using this for the past week and it has worked wonders. I only use this cream when my skin is in dire straits, not as an everyday moisturiser because I occasionally get eczema and have to use it for that.

My fourth and final favourite is the Estee Lauder Eyeliner brush 7E. I used this instead of my pencil eyeliner the other day using eye shadow to line my eyes and it worked beautifully. I think it would also work for filling in eyebrows. I know it is not a cheap brush to buy as it is Estee Lauder, but I'm not going to lie to you; I'm going to tell you what I have actually been loving.

They are all my favourites this month, I hope you enjoyed it.

Bye!

April Favourites!

Hi everyone!

It's the start of May and you know what that means.

It's April favorites time!

Sally Hansen nail polish in 130 "Blue  Me Away!"
This nail polish is so pretty. I had it on my toes and it gave such great colour with only two coats. It is so bright and lasted a long time (3-4 days).

Maybelline Baby Lips in Smoothing Cherry
I don't know if I have mentioned this in a favourites before, but I love it so much. It moisturises my lips really well and that is very important as we are coming in to the cooler months.

That is all I have for my Favourites this month, but I am still loving everything from my previous Favourites posts as well.

Bye!

March Favourites

Hello everyone,

Today I am going to talk to you my March favourites.

The first favourite I have is:

The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter. This body butter is the best in the world, unfortunately I have run out of it (this means I can go to The Body Shop again. Yay!

My next favourite is:

Biore Nourish Moisture Lotion. This is the greatest moisturiser in the world. It moisturises AND protects you from the harmful sun rays with it's SPF 15.

My third and final favourite is:

Face of Australia Revitalising Body Lotion with Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and and Shea Butter. This is a really really good moisturiser that I used to replace my body butter. It is not as nice smelling as the body butter, but does just as good a job.

That is all my favourites for this month, thanks for reading. I'll talk to you next week.

Bye!

PS: I'm now on Bloglovin, check me out by searching Nicky Jane into the search bar on the Bloglovin website. (Don't use the link, because it doesn't work) Bloglovin'

February Favourites

Hi everyone,

Today I'm going to tell you about all the things I have liked throughout the month of February.

First up is:
The Napoleon Perdis Merci lipgloss. I have written a review on it, so check it out. You'll find out why I like this there.

Next up is:
The Clinique High Impact Mascara. I quite enjoy this mascara, but I only got a sample and probably won't buy it because its pretty expensive and I don't wear mascara enough to use the whole thing (mascara dries up after a while).

Finally I have:
Trying new hairstyles. Generally I just put my hair up in a pony tail for school, but this month I have tried a side plait, fishtail and a bun thing.

I hope you liked reading about what I liked this month. Talk to you later!

Bye!

January Favourites

Hi everyone,

Today I am going to tell you what I have liked to use over the past month, so lets get straight into it!

I have really been liking the Clinique Moisture Surge extended thirst relief cream. It works really well for sunburns if you don't want it to peel (mine peeled anyway, stupid skin) or just as your everyday moisturiser. A little bit goes a really long way, so it is very good value for money. I didn't actually pay for this, it is a sample I got from a salesperson while shopping. I don't know how big the full size is, but I will be buying it!

I have also really been liking the Biore Moisture Lotion for the same reasons as the Clinique moisturiser. It nourishes my skin, helps make sunburns go away and, unlike the Clinique one, it also has SPF do it will stop my face from getting sunburned.

I wore perfume a bit more this month, because its nice to smell nice sometimes. The ones I have been wearing are Katy Perry Killer Queen, Katy Perry Meow and YSL Paris. They are all light scents and I love them all!

My favourite candle this month has been my Yankee Candle in Vanilla Cupcake. I really love this candle because t smells exactly like vanilla cupcakes. I can even smell the icing! I have nothing bad to say about this candle.

They are all the things I have been liking throughout January (and, of course, I will continue to like them). I am excited to find new things to like in the coming months of the year.

2013 Favourites

Today I am going to show you what I have liked throughout this year, and will continue to like and use, until they decide to discontinue them.

Makeup

I have really being enjoying using a palette from Napoleon Perdis called "The Ultimate Contour Palette". I really like this as it has the names of what they are to be used for (Highlight, Colour, Contour), which is great for beginners (such as yours truly) because beginners may need help when it comes to that sort of thing.

I know these aren't very good quality pictures,
but you can see better pictures HERE.

Perfume

I have really been liking the Britney Spears "Hidden Fantasy". I think that it has a nice fragrance and other people think the same, so I have been wearing it a lot lately. It also has a nice bottle, and can be held comfortably in the hand and won't fall over easily.

How pretty is this bottle?

Body

The Nutrimetics Botanics Vanilla and Guava shower gel is my favourite body wash at the moment because I think it smells nice, but is quite subtle and not an overpowering, strong scent. I also like it because it is pink, as that is one of my favourite colours.

Face

I have been enjoying using the Clinique 3-step face care routine on my face (I wrote a blog post on it) because I think it is really good. It keeps spots and things at bay and also it "wakes me up" in the morning because I think it washes any traces of sleep off of my face, leaving me feeling awake and ready for the day ahead.

Random

A random thing I have been enjoying this year is YouTube. It has introduced me to the likes of Zoella and her friends. I have learned from YouTube that there are more makeup brands in the world than the ones at the local shopping centre, and that in the new year, I'd like to try out some of these "new" brands (YSL, Nars, Bourjois, etc.) because they excite me.

I hope that you have liked me telling you what I have liked over the past 365 days; what you have been liking? Tell me in the comments!
